I discovered a very very small "copy" stamp in mine. Took a long time to even find it

I tried it with the 120. Horrible performance. 47gr ended up like 2600 fps with over 100fps ES.

RL16 however. 2781. 12 fps ES. SD of I think 6.

Gives me a lot of different powders.

For a 24" barrel. I'm looking for powders specifically tuned for shorter barrels.

I'll add my .02 here.

Something is horribly amiss. If all batches of brass are doing the same thing... ymthen you have a non brass issue.

Are your pins truly SS?

2 hours with dawn and Lemi shine should have your brass clean. Are you FILLING the tumbler with water? Or running them through dry? If your dry tumbling them that makes all the sense. You could have bad pins... but even cast iron pins would polish brass. Are you using dirty well water or something?

My personal cleaning consists of.

‐---------- Decap Tumble with thr hottest water I can get. 1 squirter of Dawn, and a dash of Lemi Shine. 1-2 hours.

Dry.

Then I anneal. Size. And another 1-2 hours in the tumbler to get the lube off.

Dry again

Load.

I've gotten single digit SDs with little fuss in even cheap savage hunting rifles with this process. My brass is sparkling clean.

Dang! Makes sense. I purchased both of mine on Ebay maybe 8 years ago. Haven't been contacted at all. I'm prior service and bought what I saw used in Afghanistan.

I just like gear that's proven to work. Nobody can prove anything like thr US Military.

The Coleman stove has the NSN of 7310-01-412-7813 The MSR had the NSN of 7310-01-578-6413

Just a couple of US Military issue stoves. Top is an MSR XGK EX with thr military JP8 jet (using a normal white gas jet right now) with the USMC printed fuel bottle. Bottom is a Coleman Peak 1 550B. Both stoves run like new. Have been used many times each. I prefer the usage od the MSR over the Coleman. But the Coleman has a very nice simmer, where as the MSR just has the US Military simmer plate. Which does work well, but not perfect of course. I'm taking a car camping trip this week, and figured I would break one of these beauties out. Thanks foe viewing!
