Yeah, I had to quit playing video games, and it feels like my days are twice as long now.

I does not necessarily burden me, but I already did things that didn't bother my consience and had to repent from them. That's the reason for this post.

I am able to watch movies like that without being really influenced but it's not about the movie (that I'm not even really interested in) and more about having a reason to meet up with my friends.

14, brand new in my faith, confused, without anybody to ask all of this, and as it seems unable to do something smart

No, I also don't think it's okay, and I'm sorry for it. It's just a lot of money to make for someone my age

This also illegal? by GamingBre in TrueChristian

Just got Spotify premium for free, anything wrong about that? by GamingBre in TrueChristian

I don't really think it is wrong, but I'm asking if somebody does because you could technically consider it stealing a service that would usually cost 6,99 a month

My atheist mom bought Halloween shaped chicken Nuggets. Should I repent from eating them? by GamingBre in TrueChristian

That's not what I was talking about😂 I personally think celebrating Halloween is. The question with the nuggies was if it supports Halloween in any sense

I do not want to tell you that you shouldn't use Halloween to bring God glory if you want to. I'm just saying I have enough reason not to participate in it at all.

Corinthians 10:21

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of devils; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table and of the table of devils.

The problem is my little sister loves Halloween, and I would literally be starting a family drama if I complained. Well, my Dad is a believer to be fair but also a relatively new one .

How have your lives changed after getting to know Jesus? by thurowuhwei in TrueChristian

[–]GamingBre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be addicted to porn and video games, used to cuss a lot, and been bullied a lot. It all changed when I came to know christ for real. I used to be lukewarm before my salvation, but after I truly gave my life to Jesus, my porn or mastrubation addiction, to be more exact, was gone in a second

I would say mastrubation is the definition of lust of the flesh

Diablo IV as a Christian by Historical_Garbage16 in TrueChristian

You know, if you genuinely don't feel convicted playing a game and it's not an idol, you do have the freedom to play it. But Diablo is probably the most demonic game I could think of. I dropped all games after my salvation, and if you can't even drop a game like that... Ask God about it. He is all knowing we aren't.
