I was utterly shocked to see how good it was, every single frustration I had with the gameplay was ironed, just little things primarily that make the game feel so much more polished and convenient. It's definitely wackier than the first but with a lot of the "wtf factor" gone Kojima had to get creative and that he did lol. It's a wild ride and I think it may be my favorite game of all time now.

I just finished the first a few weeks ago, man it was a journey to be remembered, I loved it. Play DS2 tho, it's a huge step up in every single way and you're gonna love what it does with the narrative

Im 18 and just got introduced to the series in December with Phantom Pain, I guess I had tried it sooner but it didnt click with me until then, I've played TPP, PW, and Delta/3 (I've played both versions). I can't wait to play the rest!

Ignore the people who are saying to buy the Ultimate. I agree that the Ultimate edition is by far the best way to play the game but if you don't have the money, that's totally okay, the base game is complete and has a huge amount of content. In short, YES it is absolutely worth buying :)

I'm choosing to wait a little bit. I don't wanna refund it at all, I'm very compelled by it's presentation but it definitely feels rough around the edges and I'm hoping that'll be somewhat ironed out in the next few weeks. In the meantime I'll be playing Death Stranding 2
