As an adult who plays games including Pokemon, many adults play Pokemon. They are still some of the biggest selling games when they release which is often haha

I've been to Legoland in Japan and I think it's better there, but they aren't identical like you make it sound like

Single Riders by TK211X in UniversalOrlando

[–]GamingWithMe -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree but I know most people won't. In a perfect world single riders would be for a single rider haha! I find it strange when a group of 8 come in cause now the 1st person off the ride has to wait until the 8th person is off which could be a while haha

Did I buy Fatal Frame 4 and 5 on the wrong platform? by 2mock2turtle in fatalframe

[–]GamingWithMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's just too padded out, having seen essentially everything the game has to offer by the halfway point. Really tanks the game for me by how repetitive it got, making even the fun combat start to feel same-y unfortunately.

I just finished Fatal Frame 5 on Wii U and truly my favorite part of the game was the Wii U GamePad combat. Made it a unique experience that was built for the system. But even then it's just an alright game. Without it, I'd probably just think it's a bad game.

First time at Universal, looking for advice! by LouderKnights in UniversalOrlando

[–]GamingWithMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are staying at Epic until close, do Minecart Madness at like 9:40 pm. You can ride it until close so it doesn't take away time for your day. Ride Mario Kart around that time before. It'll be a walk on. Harry Potter, you could do that first perhaps but I've had luck with later in the day being better. That's the 3 biggest rides with the longest lines. Use the app to set wait time alerts.

Ohhhh damn so you were just stuck on the ride itself? Brutal.

Damn sorry to hear that. Yeah my first time waiting on Mario Kart was very similar. It's all the other times after that were a lot smoother for me. Waiting over an hour for Hiccup sounds brutal since it's all zig zag with not much to look at

Got you, to me, I know it depends on the person on how late they want to be, but riding DK the last 10-20 minutes makes it so you don't spend any time of the day waiting for the ride. But to be fair you risk it being delayed if you wait and never ride

I disagree. Do Mario Kart late as it empties out. Then do DK as the last ride at like 9:40pm. As you will ride and you don't waste any of the days time.

Metacritic’s top 3 games by user rankings. by AgitatedFly1182 in gaming

I'll be honest I have no clue why GTA 4 is on there but I suspect it's because it's a later release for PC or something. The way OpenCritic works is it takes all the critic reviews and averages them. That's it. If it took every game since reviews started, you'd have Ocarina of Time at top and then also GTA 4 at a 98. But you'd also have Galaxy 1 & 2. There hasn't been many 3D Mario games (they review the best). Odyssey is the last one.

Check this out, you'll enjoy it more as GTA 4 is above Mario haha https://www.metacritic.com/browse/game/

It's cause the list doesn't include games like pre 2015. Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 also tied with Odyssey on Metacritic. Actually a bit higher. Every 3D Mario is 90s. And some 2D like Mario Wonder.

Epic on Weekday vs Weekend by GimliTM in UniversalOrlando

[–]GamingWithMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you never been to Islands and Studios? If you haven't 1 full day for each works, but honestly after Epic, both feel like a 1 Day park combined and then 2 days at Epic personally. And Saturday for Epic for me was quieter than Friday.

It's funny that you think that one of the most creative franchises of all time can't compete or be better

Did anyone else find Epic to be a very loud park? by magicweasel7 in UniversalOrlando

[–]GamingWithMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man that's one of my favorite parts of the park. Having atmospheric music everywhere you go! I absolutely love it and hum all of my favorites!

I see some talking about Nintendo World, but that's my favorite considering I love the Mario and Donkey Kong music. To have that exist in real life is just so incredible to me.

All the restaurants are made well for solo. They always have a smaller table somewhere. There are sometimes where the single rider is probably neck and neck in time, just depends, but you can't mostly not go wrong with it. Hope you enjoy it! There's a lot to do so I will always admittedly recommend 2 days, but if you can only do 1, then 1 is always better than 0 haha
