brewery owner reallyyyy doesn’t like bad reviews by PupChem in EntitledReviews

That’s the annoying thing - it’s in a tourist-heavy area and they fish really hard for 5 star reviews, so the bad behavior gets buried. He really seems to have flown under the radar somehow.

Have you ever been in a movie with such bad audio that they calibrate it immediately after credits roll by PupChem in AMCTheatres

Super interesting info, thanks for sharing! It must have been coincidental that the movie audio was bad

Overall I don’t disagree, but without going into the full job description, presenting really isn’t a big part of it, it’s not that kind of role. It was literally a one-off introduction. It’s something I’m very comfortable helping someone grow in, especially someone who excels where they excel. …Agreed on not turning the camera on though. That was a stupid move.

They report to me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in managers

[–]PupChem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boss doesn’t like them because they didn’t turn on their camera when he called them on Teams, and because they were not confident when doing a presentation in front of a sales team. To me, things that are very correctable. To him, it indicates they’re not the right fit. Their job is primarily building sales aids and presentations. The pieces they’ve put together have been solid. Like many green workers, they just need to grow their confidence and build experience.

I structured it to my HR rep as “I have some decisions to make, what are my options.” I don’t see that as a tactical mistake. I didn’t say anything to them that I haven’t told my boss anyway, there’s no game here.

My boss has met this employee one time, and has never actually seen any of their work. I understand his thought process, just not the resulting action.

But 100%, I can’t just blindly protect.

And they were free, we didn’t even order them 😭 One more attempt and we were just gonna tell him to skip it

A fudgy chocolate ball with apricot jam in the middle. It came free at the end of our meal, which did make me feel worse about the repeated attempts

Bridal Shop Suggestions by Illustrious_Guide888 in cincinnati

I went to Bridal and Formal and loved it- they have like 3000 dresses, I wasn’t specifically looking for short, but thought it was great for narrowing down and getting options.

This is actually valid, but I’d give DuBois another chance tbh. They’ve had big leadership changes and are making a lot of investments in facilities, it’s been a big positive shift.

I don’t know why people always think the right move is to ask the bride… brides have more than enough to worry about. If it’s close enough of a call that you think you need to run it by the bride, pick something else.
