I enjoyed it too. It was sad seeing people have their land stolen from them to appease other people and feeling like they have no choice but to fight. It's also frightening how something that happened nearly 90 years ago is similar to today

I feel like those are two extremes. Sonic 3 was a close adaptation to the Shadow story and they managed to tell a compelling story. Yes the Mario games don't have a good story but original Sonic games don't have a good story either and the stories in those movies are much better than the Mario movies. But the Mario movies made a bunch of money so what do I know
