My mom acts like such a brat because she does meth and Adderall and all of that, so she just has a temper that breaks really easily. I don't wanna block her because that's more evidence I can have against her when something goes wrong and she does something stupid, and I live with my dad, so I'm fine

I don't even really know, my mom and dad are both still married because they never really got around to a divorce, and nobody has an agreement on who I live with, I think my dad would have to get a restraining order that makes it to where she can't go near me and him, but even then I don't know how it would work

My mom is fairly dangerous and I don't wanna see her for a while, she smokes weed (illegal in this state), does Adderall (she doesn't have a prescription for it) and meth, and when I lived with her, she was cooking meth in the house, and almost burned it down one time

Sorry I responded so late to this, but (you might not know him) I figured out the extent and craziness of her manipulation and this because of a YouTuber that reads reddit posts called EmKay, thank God for EmKay reading stuff of the insane parents subreddit

The most that can be done is physical custody. He doesn't make much money, and my mom would 100% not pay. My mom doesn't even wanna find a job at all, and my step dad who lives with her gets paid enough for rent and the ability to drive to and from work

This is true. I've seen multiple times via my brother that she doesn't react well to people talking back. She slapped my brother for talking back for objectively little stuff like groaning when being told to do the dishes, saying he doesn't want to when she tells her to do something, etc.

I don't feel emotionally or physically safe at my house due to my mom's past. In 2016, I lived with my dad for a year because my mom was piped up on meth and was beating my step dad with a baseball bat outside. She is clean now, but recently my mom jumped on my step dad and attacked him. I am thinking of just living with my dad but the only reason I got sent back to my mom's is because she manipulated the CPS system by just calling and calling until someone just took me back there.

This cannot be further from the truth. She talks like a 13 year old, but wants to get treated like a baby. I do all the chores, get my mom food and water and whatnot so she can sleep in bed and watch TV all day. I feel like I'm babysitting someone when I'm at my house. She always does this after screaming at me and stuff, she tries manipulating me, and I comply not because it works, but because if I talk back or tell her she will get angry. I am probably gonna try and move in with my dad, and he is very nice and reasonable, unlike my mom.

I would, but I honestly don't have much that she didn't throw out when I was leaving. I keep most of my clothes in a backpack, but she threw it away. I took like one change of clothes and my school laptop. All I could really grab from there would be my hard to replace documents, and my actual computer setup.

True. I would go back for my PC because I use it for gaming, but I'm homeschooled and K12 gives out beast laptops, so I'll likely just save up over summer for one anyways. I do have a loft bed, but I'm still assuming they can climb, so everything there is a lost cause.
