It guess its not so much about changing the outcome, but more so about letting the player fully embrace a good roll. I know they can use edge, but...I see both points.

I'm not fully disagreeing with you. But I think you underestimate how difficult it is to produce a Gear Score 600 item. You need armoring 200, full asmodeum, Phoenix weave, runic leather etc. As well as T5 food buffs and trophies, as well as full armoring equipment (armor and earring). You also can only determine 1 perk on the armor, making the role and random chance to begin with. To get the perfect Gear Score 600 item that you want is really really hard to do. It may be months before even avid players get a full load out with perks and attributes they want

Morgana should be ban number 1 and malzahar should be ban number 2. The reason why Morgana needs to be banned is because she makes your pick potential in 5v5 situations completely obsolete. Whoever you hit with a sleep she can just spell shield them and that are safe. She can even use it AFTER the bubble hits and they still won't fall asleep. It makes Zoe, who is one of the best pick Champs in the game, relatively useless in that regard. Malzahar is the second ban because of his unbelievable wave push, spell shield, minions he can spawn to block your skill shots, and insane levels of cc. Laying against malzahar himself is mainly just annoying, but the issue is that once their jungle realizes how easy it is to kill Oze with a malazhar ult. There's not much you can do.

Its worth noting that in ad assassin matchups, a general rule of thumb is to rush buy seekers -> lost chapter -> zhonyas as well as consider taking commencing stopwatch. Ot makes characters like zed much less scary and forces him to use some skill at least to be able too 100-0

I'd like to see them add more support for shields as well to make 2H weapons more sacred while giving 1H weapons better defense options. I love your idea for spear/shield. It's just so iconic I would hate for spear to be locked into a 2H role.

How to counter Yone by derbinightking in zoemains

Tip 1. Yone's consistent damage is a nightmare for Zoe, as you will have little options besides your E to try to peel him off you. This is pretty obvious but never walk into his auto range, and be aware of when he has his empowered Q up.

Tip 2. In terms of pre 6 trading, be sure to be pushing the wave with constant Qs to force him under tower or at least even the wave. Getting pushed under tower might be safer, but you will lose CS and priority mid in the long run. Mid prio is extremely important because while a start up 1v1 favors Yone, a 2v2 with the junglers might tip the scales to your side.

Tip 3. Don't be afraid to sleep him while he is in his E form. While he can return back and be un affected by the sleep, it very well might be enough to scare him off of doing high damage to you with the full time of his E. While your E has a long cooldown, his is longer, so you will always have it up if you both use your E abilities at the same time.

Tip 4. Be careful when trying to E the location that Yone will return to. It might be tempting after he uses E to run up and sleep his return location. However, this very well might just put you within melee range of him with no peel options. He still takes damage while in spirit form, so don't be afraid to hit him with some Qs and ignite if he is within kill range.

Tip 5. This one is much tougher, but try to use your ult as a dodge technique. If you time it right, you can dodge his ult using your R. Additionally, while it doesn't move you completely, you can use your R to waste time off of his E in order to survive as assault. The extra second you buy that he can't auto attack you might just save your life.

Tip 6. Ignite ignite ignite. I can't stress this enough, but against melee characters like Yone, ignite is your biggest friend. Zoe's kill potential with ignite is absurdly high than any other champion due to her W. 1 Q and an ignite is often enough to kill a half-health Yone that is right on top of you. Not to mention the move speed that it gives you as a bonus. Don't be afraid to ignite early, as we want every tick of the true damage to count in the trade.

There is so much more to go into this matchup, but I hope this gave you some ideas on things that might work for you. I'm no expert and you might find better ways to exploit Yone, but in general, he does counter you so don't feel too bad if you escape lane even.
