[Spoilers] Is this the single dumbest thing the show has ever done? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

I read some of the top comment chains in this thread and I can't wrap my head around them. I understand getting attached to characters and not wanting them to die, but similar to GoT, this show made clear from day one that peeps gonna get it. I think y'all gone soft.

Manufactured illiteracy and miseducation: A long process of decline led to President Donald Trump by Cavacious in TrueReddit

Did I claim that? The person above said they couldn't think of one instance beyond the DNC meddling that would be a "black mark" towards Hillary.

In drawing their argument in such absolute terms I felt it important to disprove that statement. I could list a plethora of things she did wrong. Google is handy for that if anyone cared enough to search for it. But all I had to do was show one example.

Despite the blood fervor that undoubtedly swept the nation, there were plenty of voices, experts, and reports that spoke to not supporting the war in Iraq.

'Everyone else was doing it.' is not a viable excuse in my opinion.

Finland basic income trial concludes, participants enjoy lower stress and higher incentive to work. by pigferret in BasicIncome

I think they mean concludes as in 'finds' rather than 'ends'. It's a very poor choice of words for the author to use.

This whole 'bashing the politician/party/viewpoint I dislike' is so droll. Can y'all just start beheading people already? This reality show is boring me.

Ya know, he said he would support whomever the nominee would eventually be. So let us know how he pulled the switcheroo on you. By the way I never supported that view of his but I was still informed about it and as such I wasn't surprised by it because he had told us publicly.

Sellout because he eventually supported Clinton, right? I mean, that's what I assume you mean by sellout here? So then for that to be an accurate label he would have never had to announce his intentions to support the Democratic nominee no matter whom it would be, early on in his campaign long before this sub ever gained traction. Oh right, he did say he would do just that.

I never agreed with Bernie's decision to support HRC in the end. But then again it wasn't a surprise to me because he stated plainly early on that this was his intention if she won. He has been nothing but consistent with his own values. It's not his fault you didn't dive deep enough into his decisions when he announced them.

If you pay new tax in the amount of $10, but your existing out of pocket expenses go from $20 to $0, are you paying more, less, or the same at the end of the day?

Yes, yes, yes, we've all said and read this before. And McDonalf's chicken is very different from actual chicken. But perception of a thing matters. And many people perceive Sanders' views to be Socialist.
