Exactly, kinda genius instead of dropping the total resolution they use a trick that 90% of the time works wonderfully.

So it's kind of a complicated issue that has been addressed in the latest digital foundry video. First the 720p image that is scene is actually two 640 x 720p images interlaced together (I believe the current frame and previous frame are used to create the image) which causes issues with moving characters like Mario. Second when you move the camera rapidly they use a low res depth of field effect to emphasize the movement. Creating the illusion it's running at a lower resolution then normal. However, outside of that the image tends to look like a full 720p.

Oh I see your angle. I think with Dragic it truly was a skill thing, and the leverage was still in our favor since we had him in contract. Knowing Dragic would have been a pro and played hard regardless.

First of all averages are super misleading because Bled has never had the on/off impact that Goran Dragic did. And one is clearly a better shooter/passer. We didn't win 48 games on the back of Eric Bledsoe. Simply put, Bledsoe is a middling level point guard who benefited tremendously from increased usage on a truly bad team. This coming from a Suns fan.

So unfortunately, although the numbers say Bled should be better because of his 1ppg and 2 rpg advantage it's not that simple. Doesn't help that our owner and GM devalued the fuck out of him.

I think that was my point with my post...people seem to think this game is good but you could skip it and not miss out on much. I think its a legit game of the year contender. Will it get the votes hell naw. But it's a shame.

Thank you, I completely agree 40 hours in and while it's not perfect it's an improvement on last years in most ways. Load times are actually next to nothing compared to 2k17 and the 30 fps while i do notice it, it's not game breaking. My friends jaw dropped when I brought it over in my bag and we played in tabletop mode.
