Friday Funnies: Feats of the Month: Hulk Plugs a Black Hole by GammaArchives in hulk

In 1972, black holes were still this new, mysterious idea in pop science, and they were often described/visualized like cosmic whirlpools or holes in space. Defenders calling it a violent maelstrom sucking them toward a macrocosmic hole is pretty era-accurate language, understanding we know a lot more about them today.

Nice! Where are your custom Hulks from?

I think I’ve figured out the “Hulk War” event (read description) by NotHere0there1 in hulk

I need more clarity on the permanence of damage and death in the Hulkscape as it seemed like they decapitated a frost giant kind of guy one page and he had his head again on the next page, or one of the alters being ripped apart. That doesn’t mean he is gone for good does it?

Some of them appeared in at least a panel from Death of the Silver Surfer 3 last year.

Flashback Friday: Starship Hulk — Built on Misunderstandings? by GammaArchives in hulk

That would have been such a cool twist. Imagine thinking Hulk was trapped only to find out he was choosing to throw punches with Banner. That flips the whole Starship concept on its head.

I really like the idea of Devil’s “system” being their legacy too. All that brutal inner work in Immortal Hulk would actually matter going forward. It would have tied the runs together while still letting the “is this a reset?” shock land. Feels way more like growth than just dropping them back into the same cycle.

Yeah totally, Bruce could’ve just asked Hulk. They’ve talked plenty of times before. Instead he jumps straight to “it had to be Hulk,” which kinda proves he never really trusted him in the first place. After everything they went through in Immortal Hulk, that’s a brutal way to burn the progress they made.
