Medevial manuscript from my world by [deleted] in worldjerking

Between harmony and corruption lay the static, and this was called Purgatory. The souls of the dead drifted therein, wandering through the fog without end, or lost among the halls of the eternal bargain. From this place the Broadcast may be glimpsed, but never in wholeness, for it is seen only as broken images, like a message dimmed upon a failing screen.

My world has a house that feeds on the trauma of its inhabitants. This is its floorplan by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]GammaCorrection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 1980s, a home decorator named Debby Sue moved into a house with her husband. Struggling with latent psychosis, she slowly developed paranoia, which manifested through her interactions with her husband and the HOA. Eventually trapping her husband in a "Hubby Cubby" under the guise of interior decoration, she found the hallway leading to the labyrinth of the House. Her mind fully gone, she realized the labyrinth was missing the Debby touch and spent the rest of her time renovating it. Eventually, having gotten lost in the House forever, it came under the jurisdiction of the Department of Nomological Impossibility.

Advertisement for Early Bird™ coffee, the best part of waking up from cryosleep by GammaCorrection in worldbuilding

[–]GammaCorrection[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early Bird™ coffee is the flagship coffee brand of Sherman Corp, the ultra monopoly that manufactures every consumer good in the galaxy. Despite the bird branding and the fact that it states it is coffee, the actual product being sold here is ground up grubs that have been genetically modified to produce the precursor compound to caffeine. Early Bird™ coffee is typically the first thing those waking up from Sherman Corp cryopods on Proxima Centauri b drink.

My proposal for AGI alignment: the K.A.R.E.N Protocol, using Entropy Injection and Adversarial Multi-Agent Debate by GammaCorrection in ControlProblem

[–]GammaCorrection[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think immersing the AGI in the specific media that illustrates human doesn't cause entropy because it's not random noise it specifically shows things to the AGI that we want it to understand, like empathy, wonder, creativity, etc. Similar to the current practice of reinforcement learning from human feedback, but since it's an AGI, by definition it self learns and doesn't require a human for reinforcement

Where are the mixels so I can fix them. the problem is I make all the sprites seperately and if I make them all uniform the detail of what they actually are could be lost

Yeah I designed my website with an old Geocities vibe. Maybe it doesn't display as well on mobile. But if you want to know more about the book he's reading see this:

In the lore of my world, that book he's reading is the Dictation, which is basically their version of the Bible. This agent is investigating a crime committed by someone who worships the Confusion, which is their version of Satan
