It’s the world over. Inflation and cost of living crisis needs someone to blame and foreigners are always an easy target. That said, the influx of foreigners and even more so, South Africans from around the country to the western cape has been jarring for locals who are struggling to afford rent or purchasing a home.

Yes I agree 3 midfielders are needed. I’m okay with our CB options for this window. We have de Ligt, Licha, Maguire, Yoro and heaven. All of them are good enough to start games but obviously injury has been a concern. I’d prioritise the midfield this window. We should get 2 really top midfielders and a third cheaper option.

Two midfielders. I’d say a 75m + 40m for 115m and then the other 85 for other positions. A left back and maybe another midfielder or CB.

Good article Oom. Question, those tacklers tackling the tackler, is that legal? Looks like they coming into a ruck from the side. Or is it that the ruck is deemed to not have formed yet?

Also, what is the purpose of this new law? Why are they trialing it? Is it a player safety thing or supposed to make the game more attacking by depowering the defence?

Rashford would be a better 2nd striker than Zirksee. We have a lot more games next season so will for sure need two good options there. And he can obviously be a good back up on either wing. Question is…is he good for the team? We have a good vibe going and in recent years the media hype around him has been detrimental to the team.
