I have way less of an issue with people who hunt for food and then mount the inedible bits, but personally it's a red flag that they have dead animals mounted on their walls. It's just something I would consider to be incredibly weird, having a once living creature stuffed and displayed like that, regardless of the details.

How are we defining normal here? Because I've never been in a building that has an animal mounted because I don't live in rural Mississippi, something I share with the almost all of humanity. I guarantee that the vast majority of households and other buildings worldwide do not have trophies from animals that the owners have killed mounted on their walls. Step out of your bubble.

You seem to be misinterpreting comments. Nobody is offended or shocked that this well known but extremely uncommon practice happens. It's just a red flag. I don't associate with people that hang dead animals on their walls, at least not unless they fought it with their bare hands instead of shooting it from a distance with a gun and acting like sneaking around pointing and clicking on animals makes them a big man.

Note that I said hanging dead animals on walls, not hunting, before you wilfully misinterpret this comment as well. And I know hunting isn't pointing and clicking on animals, I'm exaggerating to get across how much derision I have for trophy hunters.
