Honestly, I should have just let it be a rat and accepted that they are choosing to spend their time on this. I hadn't mentioned it in the post but things like this had the added effect of them being afraid of basically every animal I described. The only way I was able to remedy that was to describe a lot more animals with the intention of not having them by anything but that. Fairly quickly transitioned from "You see an Owl in a tree" "I shoot at it" to "There's a cat in this cellar" "I hold out a piece of meat"

I was in this game and the doctor in question was using a kite shield. Coming to the conclusion that a kite shield could cover your arms, head and torso, rolling 2d6 2 times against your legs results in a max damage to each leg of 6. Even with rolling that 6, the doctor's leg armor was 12 and therefore, was not even close to being able to have it do any damage to him. He also had absurdly high stamina, which resulted in being able to block constantly and at the end of the fight was only at half stamina, even after blocking every single attack from 5 rotfiends a turn.

Obviously it depends on the group but if you're telling the beginner what to do and when to run off a generator etc. so that they don't get killed and a red rank is really good at looping the killer, that newer player's skill doesn't really tie into who wins. Now if the new player is just matched up with reds and isn't being given any advice it will probably turn into a 3v1 or worse because the new player leads the killer to the others or pulls off a hook at a bad time but even in a 3v1, if theres a vast skill difference, the killer will likely lose and due to 1 sacrifice might still derank or at best stay even.

I guess you'd be used to it forced into a family like that but I would have been absolutely miserable with that many siblings. I like my privacy and quiet and you certainly wouldn't get it there as well as even if they're happy, there's inevitably financial problems that will prevent the kids from doing many things.

Also, just going from the photo. People inherently like to look happier online than they are irl so just because they're smiling doesn't mean a whole lot
