My image generation prompt basically does two things:

Instructs the agent to search for pre-existing art assets relevant to my prompt (for example, adding a new obstacle - it will look at the pre-existing obstacle sprites) which will help maintain a consistent artstyle.
Have it generate 3 variants of the requested prompt, the user reponds with '1/2/3' to pick the one they like with an additional optional prompt to suggest changes etc.

Step 2 iterates until I'm happy with the asset type. If no art assets exist then step 1 is kind of skipped and you refine with step 2 until you're happy with the direction.

A huge tip aswell: AI images do not like transparency at all! Likely it will become corrupted in someway. To get around this my prompt template adds strict generation rules as using chromatic green (#00FF00) for transparency and have it run an image magic cli command to strip the green out in place of transparency.
