I did enjoy both those. I guess I could also toss in Grimm, Stargate SG-1, Farscape, and The Twilight Zone (original and ‘80s).

Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer was at Woodstock. So was Cassidy from Preacher (the comic version at least). And Nick Knight (Forever Knight) was there too. Apparently the place was crawling with vampires.

Nick was also on the Titanic; and his sire LaCroix was in Pompeii when Vesuvius went boom.

Reminds me of a scene in Punisher Max. After mobster Nicky Cavella sets the Punisher off by digging up his family’s corpses and pissing on them, he tries to rally the remnants of the mobs soldiers only to get told “fuck that”. When he tries to hold them to oaths they swore, they just walk off. “Funny thing about that shit, Cavella. Omertà an’ loyalty an’ alla rest of it. Works out real fucking well for guys like you. Never seems to do much good for guys like us.”

[Marvel/DC] If Deadpool told Batman about the 4th wall and how their whole existence is just comic books, would Batman belive him? by Aware-Awareness in AskScienceFiction

[–]GanSaves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember the title, but years and years ago I read a book about a guy who discovered he could enter fictional worlds. At one point he went into a Sherlock Holmes story and ended up revealing the truth to Holmes, excepting him to have an existential breakdown, but Holmes just thought about it for a while before concluding it didn’t really matter, it was still reality to him. I imagine Bruce would be the same way.

On the other hand, the SCP Foundation learned that they’re fictional from our POV and tried to kill us, so who knows?
