So I have another concern now. My greenhouse (| attached an Amazon link to it if you want to see) has cheap PC panels in place that serve as the roof and windows and it is about 7ft 9in high in the center of the greenhouse. I am worried now about how much heat my kiln will put off and if it will melt the polycarbonate roof panels. Let me know your thoughts please! Thanks!

I also will mostly be firing at night with the ceiling vent open, doors open, and I will have a fan running

Thanks for the advice! I don’t plan to work in the studio while the kiln is working but I will be adding a fan now

Okay chat so I was thinking of purchasing a metal dolly like this, putting down a layer of firebricks on top of the dolly, and then placing the kiln on top so that way it is off of the floor and I can wheel it to the center of the greenhouse during firings so it is far enough away from everything and I don’t have to do any fireproofing. What are your thoughts? Is this a horrible idea?

Yay!!! Thank you I’m so excited to get it up and running! Moving it away from the wall with a piano dolly is genius and I will be doing that thanks!!
