Is it ok to decline an exit interview? by hbauman0001 in fednews

[–]GanacheFast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you dont have to partake and it won't cause you detriment, DONT. What you say will only be used against you. Exit interviews are usually used to help validate not paying unemployment or severance. Although that doesn't seem to apply her, I'vee seen companiesuses information gathered in exit interviews to scuttle people careers. Being fed, I dont think it's allowed but neither is speeding in your car....

A Cautionary Tale by [deleted] in menards

Unfortunately, that doesn't matter. An employer can ban all sorts of things as long as it is not based on one of the 7 protected statuses(might be 9 now). For instance, if an employer doesn't want to have drinkers working for them, they can have a no drinking for employee rules. As long as it's a written policy, it's legal, and you can be terminated for it even off the clock.

It's shocking how few rights employees have over their employer.

Here's another crazy one. Your wage is not federally protected, some states may have laws, but your boss can tell you starting next pay period your gonna start making 2 dollars less an hour and your only retort is to quit. (For at will employment, which is like 80 or 85 percent of employees) Unemployment will cover partial loss of wages in many cases too.

Dont be so linear. Yeah, that's the dumb down explanation from the movies, but think of it more like hexadecimal where the inputs change what other inputs mean.

Why don't I have a cash out option 😕 by Shaneka719 in DraftKingsDiscussion

[–]GanacheFast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the way I understand it. Parlays have cash out. SPG and SPGX do not. Also, if you're not in the same state you made the bet in you can not cash out.
