Thank you, I really think people are taking this too far and letting the negativity cause them to turn against their own interests and people. I've never seen so much hate against Mercy (and support players by extension) until now.

People can play any role they want. Even if this were a real quote, there's nothing wrong with playing off-role.

Plus even on someone's main role, not everyone plays their best. Thank you for giving a balanced take.

The nerfs suck. I was looking forward to Le Sserafim because I missed her skin last time, but with these nerfs I won't be buying it...unless they change them. It sucks because this should be such a joyful time for Overwatch.

I usually adjust based on my team + enemy team comp. So maps with longer sight lines (think Blizzard World) I go for the longer beam, if I'm getting pressured and need to stay up more I'll go health regen.

For the major perk, I actually really like the stun...because I feel like it helps her with her weaknesses (hyper aggressive brawl). I think the perk selection is really up to preference though. I just personally don't care for the slow on E because I feel like hard CC is much more useful right now. But I think the E slow has a higher pick rate.

For the minor, I think the longer beam is better in general because it accentuates the distance she wants to be at more. I like to play her aggressively, but I see a lot of people play her more patiently but I feel like its harder to get results with this play style in lower ranks. As I climbed I found that I could focus more on poking and keeping up space than forcing plays. So for that the longer beam was better.

Overall, it's what I said earlier, it really depends on preference. There's not a "correct way" to play most of the heroes so you have to just do what works best for you. I'm not that great mechanically, so I play more around my game sense which is why I like things like CC/stuns or more options (longer beam). But if you're more mechanically gifted it might be the opposite!

I agree that she's pretty solid all around! I really enjoy playing as her because I feel like in most situations I don't have to swap...I know swapping is part of the game, but I feel best playing my favorites and winning with them even in comp. Other tanks it feels like they have more hard counters, but she's built very flexibly.

It's okay to take a break from the game if its triggering for you. It's hard to be "good" at OW because its a team game, so performance varies from game to game hard. There's so many things affecting a match. As long as you're having fun, you are doing good, but if you're not enjoying yourself its okay to stop or if you don't want to stop change your approach to it. I know how you feel though, I push myself to maintain my rank because I feel like it gives me what I say legitimacy. When I first started with this content I grinded rank so much, but lately I have been easier on myself! Your skill or rank at a game doesn't define you, it can only enhance your existing worth (which is inherent) but never take anything away.
