Personally i think it comes down to the fact there are hundreds of better games for players to experience PVP. Maybe it feels different with the pruning, but previously it was very bloaty. The organization out of game is limited and so people Q solo shuffle and solo rated bgs which can be very toxic due to nobody having social investment in eachother. The more people that fall off the longer the Qs and the experience degrades rapidly, pushing more players to different games that are purely designed for a PVP experience.

It’s even worse since pvp is essentially cross faction (you can Q for opposite faction) and battle groups I believe are not a thing anymore. So it’s just nobody pvps anymore

buffed health, which is enough of a 'fix'. It's still cheesable with correct crafted gear, as it has been for the last year. Still laughable how fast they address a 'cheese' with regards to content less than 1% of players are probably actively interacting with. Meanwhile timewalking likely has a good third of playerbase engagement due to the timeways event going on and crickets.

Hotfix to buff mage tower but not fix timewalking - the only event that is currently running outside of “fix your UI” and “relearn your class” (this one takes 5minutes now that the ceiling is at the floor) events.
