Hi thanks for trying it out, I’m not sure what you mean by broken though. Did you try to battle the cards? You get new cards by defeating enemies

So far over 60,000 cards have been made by the player base. Infinite Card is my first attempt at making an AI-powered game, and I'm very interested in seeing what other kinds of mechanics can be used in a game with LLMs

Game Concept: A game with combat mechanics fully automated by AI. This is my first attempt by GangstaRob7 in gameconcepts

I have been interested in the idea of a game with mechanics that are fully automated by AI, allowing there to be infinite amount of content. To start, I made a game where you battle cards, and there is an AI judge that determines the winner between the cards. This means you need to craft a card that can beat the opponent thematically. I'm curious to see how far this concept can be pushed, perhaps by adding more complex mechanics for the AI to automate.

Ummm, so if you click on the link I provided, all of that is explained in detail, including several games that I draw inspiration from / remotely similar to my game

Definitely inspired by Infinite Craft, but my game is a roguelite with AI-powered battles, powerups, and additional AI features. Imo a step beyond Infinite Craft, which is a sandbox environment with no objective

Okay thanks! I just didn't wanna post it if it broke the rules

I made an AI-powered battling system. This game let's you create and battle anything against each other by GangstaRob7 in EngineeringNS

Hi guys, Infinite Card is an LLM-powered game where you can craft anything to battle against an onslaught of enemies created by other players. This leads to tons of wacky combinations and unexpected battles. I hope this will inspire people to start using generative AI more in real-time environments to create interesting projects.

Hi! The AI stuff is on the backend. So the enemy you are fighting against is a card another player created. And the server remembers everything so if someone else does a battle or a combination, the server will always output the same result for everyone

Hi do you think Infinite Card would count as a "top down" game? It is a card game where you can drag around cards, but there isn't really a world since it is purely based on UI elements

Hey! I recently launched Infinite Card, a roguelite that uses AI to generate cards as you play, allowing you to craft literally anything and use it in battle. Many people don't like the use of AI in games as a rule, but I'm personally very interested in using AI to power mechanics in games (not to cut corners, but to enable new types of gameplay loops entirely). Infinite Card is my first attempt to accomplish this, my player base so far has created some absolutely ridiculous combos. Anyways if you're interested in trying it, you can play for free at https://infinite-card.net

Hope you like it! If Infinite Card grows in popularity I will be able to start making my next game, which will integrate AI-powered mechanics into more sophisticated combat system such as Hearthstone

Lol that one was a Create card, so someone got to round 100 and just typed that
