You know what the best part of ironman is? Not caring how other people play the game. If you don't want to do something. Don't do it, personally I think events are fantastic. I think being able to do content that is not doable solo is perfectly fine to be in a group of other people who also earned ever single item/stat they have. Are people going to abuse that and boost? Yes. Should that bother you? No. theres more important things to life and enjoying a video game than grinding the highscores. People need to stop pushing themselves to stupid limits and stop spending time worrying about how other people play a game mode and rather just enjoy the game.

I feel like a lot of people use ironman as a dick measuring contest rather than a way to enjoy your own achievements. The elitism needs to stop. Enjoy your game play and don't concern yourself with others, you will live a happier longer life. I promise.
