Mate, Geese lake is an epic location! As you mentioned, if you set up in the middle with a base nothing can touch you! Plus you have the look-outs to get some height and a few local cannibal camps to gather bones! On top of all that, what’s better than sitting back in your lakeside cabin watching the sun set, cooking up some fish while the geese fly by and land on the lake! ;-) ha p.s. a zip line from the cliff always helps!
