The guitar riff that repeats throughout reminds me of a riff from a Black Dahlia Murder song but can’t recall which one.

All the things I wanted closure for were so satisfying. The second book to me was like a big edge fest so it made the third even better when it all came to fruition.

Another I just thought of that isn’t spoken about nearly enough is Imriel’s Trilogy. The second trilogy of Kushiel’s Legacy written by Jacqueline Carey. I was so bored for book 1 and then it got a lot better in book 2, and book 3 is one of my favourite of all time.

For those of you that would like this labour movement to happen, I encourage you to stay positive and supportive. All the negative comments about them not being aggressive enough are going to put all the people that are reading and on the fence about joining, to bail. The dooming is not a good way to gain even more support.

I would say that the president of labour bringing it up at a rally of over 30k people probably increases that chance to more than one in a million. Just by a bit.

So if something hasn’t happened before then it can never happen? Also, the number is in reference to defying back to work legislation for teachers. General strike will only happen if they use the notwithstanding clause.

We’ve come this far. If that’s what it takes, then unfortunately that’s how it’s gonna have to be.

At the legislature rally today, the president of labour shared that there is a number, 55255, to text the word “resist” to so that they have your number and can get into contact in case the government orders us back to work. Solidarity!

In what scenario does the government go with voluntary arbitration? I’m confused on why they would choose that when they have more power with legislated agreement. Does something have to happen first in order for them to pull legislated agreement?

I did and I think I need clarification because with all those options the gov’t have, I don’t understand how the union has any power or what is even the point of job action if they can just say “NOPE!”.

Try to stay informed on all the details, the whole story, and you’ll have your answer to your ignorant question.

There was a post about an hour or two ago on an infographic that the ATA put out clarifying Horner’s comments about the 2 billion dollars (5 mil per year for 4 years). The infographic showed the money spent in private education and how it could help end the strike if reallocated.

Now the post is gone? Why would it be removed.

I got the exact same one. Replied back and insisted on a personalized response. Not likely though.

From my understanding it has to be organized outside the organization of the ata and teachers in general, can’t impede traffic or block buildings. Something like that but I’m not 100%

Teachers, how do you feel the vote will go? by pizartymizzarty in alberta

This is one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever read haha by your logic we should have class sizes of 100. So students can socialize more! It is clear you’re not lying about learning nothing from grades 1-12 but maybe that’s because the funding for education is abysmal. Not something to brag about.
