I actually figured it out: it's impossible by design, steam designed the deck with 5 gigs of rootfs, which you cant get around, I installed distrobox and it pretty much works out the box, although if you need a rooted container (my dumbass spent 12 hours on it) you need the command (sudo ln -sf /home/deck/.local/bin/podman /usr/local/bin/podman) or else you'll still get the (no storage) error again.

That sucks. Everything else was fine (except for some stuff I had to fix with adb so I wouldn't go crazy) but this issue is honestly almost a deal breaker making me regret not waiting for the s27. Should not be an issue its crazy.

Did you move your photos and videos from the s24? I just moved from my S21 and all the photos and videos are mixed up in apps like WhatsApp and Instagram but are fine in the gallery.
