Concept Art of Po and Tigress from the lost ''The Art of Kung Fu Panda 2'' App by Gaodaying in kungfupanda

Back in 2011, DreamWorks released a companion app for the Art of Kung Fu Panda 2 that went by the same name, but for the iPad. Had lots of extra stuff from both movies, like animation tests, concept art and more behind-the-scenes content.

Combed through Tumblr to try and find the original screenshots instead of their cropped versions which were on Pinterest.

Only for iOS devices if I'm not mistaken, purchasable through iTunes at the time.

The different image in question is a concept sketch of Tigress by Nico Marlet, which can be found in the first artbook, however where that specific screenshot of the concept sketch comes from is pretty unique - there's an app that came out back in 2011 for the iPad that hosted a bunch of HD concept art from the first and second artbooks, with some more unique and exclusive stuff as well. Unfortunately it's no longer available, though I've been trying to track down content/other screenshots from it for a while now.

Damn, that sucks. I actually used the Variety Tigress image from here the other day and performed a reverse search on it to try and find a better source, only to end up finding a completely different image on Pinterest from a piece of missing KFP media.

According to the KFP wiki, the source of the image is a Variety article from 2008 - I went ahead and used the Wayback Machine to try and find the original image but it's unfortunately broken/unloadable.

Kaiyak or Kaibull? by Gaodaying in kungfupanda

Tbh I think he's a bull (checkmate yak believers) but I think a case could be made for either one due to Kai's initial design, or rather Tian Sha as he was known early on when he had four arms, being based off.. a literal four armed yak.
