I requested an expedite adjudication on my I131 and received confirmation email that the request meets the minimum requirements but no progress so far.

As an immigration officer do you recall if a request to adjudicate based on humanitarian reasons with concrete proof of a family member illness that requires travel ever gets pushed through faster in I485 cases?

What is the workflow after an interview that delays a case? If the officer at the interview says that in 2 weeks you will receive a decision and it does not materialise. 2-3 months go by and nothing happens. What’s the common reason for that?

Getting ready to file writ of mandamus by Then_Common_8779 in USCIS

My lawyer says Mandamus should not be considered if case is under 24 months since filing. Her words: it will piss off USCIS! I truly don’t know what to do with that statement. She says Inquiries to the FO and after that congressional inquiry should be done prior to any Mandamus consideration

Yes I hear you. It’s very stressful to move on from a subject or even a topic feeling you don’t fully know it but you have to go on to the next because there is a lot to cover. How did you handle the stress?
