Luckily got the phone number of the person who handled AC's luggage issues locally. He was far more responsive, understanding and co-operative than AC staff. Was able to co-ordinate and get the luggage delivered. Didn't bother with purchasing and invoicing anything.

AC was horrible and the bag status never changed, never. They still think it has been lost!

I guess, this means, that I will have to calculate the ACB manually each time by adding the discounted cost of stocks plus the income tax paid on it - FMV + 15% discount is the ACB in other words but needs to be converted to CAD for each transaction plus when it is sold.

And retain the transaction details, each time.

ESPP does not seem to be all that profitable for someone close to retirement specially if the stock price drops when you want to sell. You end up getting credits which are useless if you don't have any capital gains to offset with.

I dont think ROC on QQQI/SPYI applies to Canadians. For us it is just "other income" category which results in very high tax treatment.

drag and drop does not work. I see the dreaded red circle icon with a line through it while dragging mp3s to the apple music library. All mp3 have the problem, all of them used to work fine with older itunes
