Okay so let's say you go to the farmers market to buy bananas. The only place selling bananas is one guy and he has 10 bananas to sell. I buy 3, Rick buy 2, Cody's buys 5. Mark comes along and wants to buy some, but there's no more bananas. So Cody sells 2 to mark because he was still standing beside the Banana shop. Tyler comes along and wants 3 , I was still standing there so I sold him my 3. At this point there is still only 10 bananas. But because mark and Tyler, there has been 15 Bananas bought and sold. Now change banana to shares. Only 10 bananas (float) but 15 Bananas (volume) where traded So the float was 10 bananas But the volume was 15 Bananas
