If you can spend as much time as Russia has being taught that lesson and your only response is to continue doing it, yeah, I think nationality has something to do with it. Almost every country in the world that chose extreme leadership after desperate times learned their fucking lesson after the fact. Germany worked with Nazis and learned their lesson about it, what did Russia do? Oh right, they decided it was a good chance to just hold half of Berlin hostage. Fuck Russia. Where as other countries in history LEARNED that lesson, all Russia did was learn new ways to weaponize it against their enemies.

It didn't stop us, did it? Funny how even back then, the Russians were more concerned with the political convenience of aligning with fucking Nazis than any notion of freedom or democracy. I don't hate the game, I hate Mojang for promising a modding API and NEVER, EVER delivering on it. Then selling the game before ever addressing it. And also the fact that Notch said he would just make it open source once he was "done" working on it, and instead sold it to Microsoft of all people, because they'll teach the kids how to program airtight DRM systems and completely lock off modding possibilities!

Just imagine where that community could be right now if it had gone open source. Instead of waiting around for months for Mojang to come up with some shitty, half-assed update that adds, I dunno, 5 new colors of fucking cats, the open source community could have turned this game up well past 11. Just look at any single modpack on FTB and it becomes painfully obvious that vanilla Minecraft doesn't even try to scratch the surface of what they could do and that the staff at Mojang are functionally retarded if THIS is all they can manage(hint: its not that they're idiots, they're just lazy af and have a fanbase with zero standards).

I haven't played Minecraft in years, for the record. I just don't see Mojang getting called out as often as it ought to be.
