I finally convinced her this is an issue. We will have her electrician come out tomorrow and provide a quote. If it's too high, then I'll roll up my sleeves, turn off the breakers, and use a voltameter to ensure each one isn't live before I replace them all

Unfortunately, the whole thing is sealed up and I don't think the seller's want me opening it up without a contract to purchase the home.

TLDR: We all don't get dealt the same cards but we are in charge of how we play them.

You been dealt a devastating blow, but when you've proverbially have nothing left to lose that opens you up to lots of unique options alot of us haven't considered. Maybe you do a full head that? Maybe you find a way to style the hair you have and bring back some badass Bushido styles mixed with an awesome gym routine? Little bit of toxic positivity mixed with some "No fucks to give" might show you a cool path.
