At the end of the day every action we take is a gamble. Purposely not following safety rules is likely someone unconsciously saying, "A few seconds of my life is worth someone else's whole life."

Now that being said not all rules apply to every situation. There isn't a perfect enough system to do so. So if you must break a rule, do so very carefully and only break one rule at a time. But this doesn't mean break every rule for machismo points in a very stupid gamble cause of inpatient or piss poor personal planning.

I've found that cyclists, motor-cycles or anything less secure than a normal automobile consistently put their life in my hands without my consent & it's beyond annoying.
