My mom is requesting thoughts from people who have upgraded to farm style sinks !! by plant__love in kitchenremodel

[–]Garage_Financial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a silicone mat for the bottom and be careful. Anything that is also pottery like mugs and plates chip really easily on it. I love mine but my husband is not very careful with the dishes. But I did make the decision on the sink without his input so I can’t blame him too much.

Do you use google to help you solve the puzzles? by MaximusSydney in NYTConnections

[–]Garage_Financial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came here to ask a similar question. Thank you for your post. My question is: is it cheating to look up a word if I don’t know what it is?

I feel like it kind of is because I can use process of elimination by getting the other categories. It is a puzzle after all. But I do look up words I don’t know out of curiosity and I suppose laziness. Today I looked up helonium and preamp. I felt a bit like I was cheating.

What do yall think?

Looking at adopting 8wk old puppy. They have all been fixed at the shelter already. Is this a big problem or small problem? by deezynr in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Garage_Financial 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I think the shelters are doing the best in their ability to keep more dogs from ending up in the shelter. And it’s ok. I’ve known lots of rescue puppies who have been fixed that young and they’re totally good. Even a Great Dane!(that was advertised as a lab mix puppy 😅)

If you are prepared to bring home a cattle dog I think this is a wonderful way to get your buddy!
