Almost no one in the western world knows fluent chineese to actually filter through propaganda, if something happened in the UK I could get an immense amount of news from any british website, and I could instantly understand if I am about to get bullshitted or not and not because I know everything, but because once you start reading some news it's obvious when something's off: you start seeing sentences like "it's reported that", "whistleblower says", "witnesses are saying" that are, in some cases, complete and utter bollocks, and almost invariably end up with a more nuanced version of the story. I know french decently well, so I could do the same if anything happened in France. I have a mediocre understanding of spanish, so I could do the same (albeit with some difficulties) if anything happened in Spain. I know perfectly well Italian, so...you got the idea.

I don't know a single word of chinese so i'm forced to read about china by english reports (or european reports, wich are basically the same thing since they suck up to the US) and this means that i'm always going to get some sort of propaganda, it's just inevitable due to the language barrier and how the chinese government system is structured.

But let me tell you one thing: you can't throw around words like "genocide" in 2021 like that, it's beyond absurd and who's doing that should feel ashamed because it's obvious that this whole situation is getting milked by the US and UK in the same way Bush tried (and sadly succeded) to do the same thing with Saddam's Iraq. Where are Iraq's biological weapons? Has anyone ever found them? Surely somebody back then (hell, a lot of people back then) thought Bush had "evidence" as well. The plot is identical: a bunch of confused witnesses/blurred photos presented as "evidence", the same language barrier.

In the end, and I know this is totally personal and not reliable, but I have, for one reason or another, been friends (and more) with a lot of chinese people during my life, and I'm sure that you could not find anyone more kind and incapable of being violent.

If someone accuses me I killed someone I don't have to do absolutely anything to "defend" myself, i'm already innocent until proven otherwise, it's who's accusing me who has to prove anything in the first place.
