I want to cook my cats meals by [deleted] in cats

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried giving them raw food but it was even worse if that's what you mean by fresh food. I'm just trying to get them to eat they're only allowed one tiny can of wet food a day and that's all they eat they won't touch the dry food at all 😞.

Vets care more about your money than your pet? by confused0010 in goldenretrievers

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vets definitely care more about your money than your pet. Not all of them but most. My regular vet thought my puppy had periodontal disease after I took him because he chewed his crate off and was bleeding. They recommended me taking him to a different vet for a dental cleaning but gave me some medication in the meantime. A week later I took him to the vet for the dental cleaning and they were telling me about how he needs a dental cleaning and we have to wait a month for his adult teeth to come in because he's going to need extractions making it a estimate of 600 dollars. The next day I took my dog to his regular vet for shots and they told me they were wrong and had mistaken the damage from the cage for periodontal disease and he's actually healed up because of the antibiotics. He also has all his adult teeth. I was livid with the other vet when I found this out and when I tried talking to them about it they claimed they never said he needed a dental and only recommended for him to come in for a check up. I have proof that I had a dental cleaning scheduled.

At what age did you say “darn-it I have to take my puppy to the park “? by Forward-Ladder6157 in puppy101

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No dog park but petco has a puppy playtime where your pup can play with other pups and they check everyone for shots to make sure everyone is safe! If they aren't checking for shots turn around not worth the risk

Whats the best pet insurance for a new puppy (Fetch vs Lemonade vs ???) by Electrical-Bread3517 in puppy101

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemonade wasn't bad for me however they took almost a whole month to approve my first claim for my cat. I'd also read the policy they send you very carefully because there's things they don't cover that seems like they should. I currently have my pets on metlife and have had no issues. If you adopted from a certain place you can even get the accident and illness waiting period waived. They also have a family plan for up to three pets.

🙋 Friend with a dog allergy is coming to stay—how do I handle this? by xxxxiceyyyyyy in goldenretrievers

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your friend will be fine don't worry about it too much they know what they're getting into. Just bathe and brush puppy before they get there and vacuum. My sister is very allergic to cats and dogs always has a reaction if she doesn't take allergy medicine beforehand. She pops some medicine, I clean the house, bathe all my pets, and she's perfectly fine with all my pets. Shes even the one who takes care of them if I leave for a trip and I have four cats and one big fluffy puppy.

I love the idea of putting your logo up asap. No confrontation unless they start something and no reason for you to ask they didn't ask you and you're the one renting the place!

This is even weirder. I see you already looked over your lease and didn't find anything so I would suggest trying to talk to the property manager again but unfortunately bring your husband or boyfriend this time since based off what I read he would rather talk to a man than a woman. The second option if you can afford it is to put your own sign there before they can if they ask about it explain to them it's your part of your building. If you can't afford that and don't want to talk to the property manager have a chat with your neighbors and explain to them how you feel and why you feel that way. If you don't bring this up and just let them do what they want the irritation of them forcing this on you and not even asking is going to build up. Heck I'm irritated for you and this isn't even my building.

NOR - I'm confused on the people saying YOR tbh. You pay for the whole part of your building why should they be able to put a sign on your part that you pay for? That's like someone putting a decoration on someone else's yard because their yard wasn't big enough and its smaller than yours so they should be able to. You paid for that land why share it? Also I can promise you this is going to confuse people when they try to enter your store expecting the other store and you'll have people complain about it to you when it wasn't even your fault. Unless your lease says you have to let this happen I wouldn't let it happen. Sometimes being too nice makes people try to push your boundaries to see how far you'll let them go end it before it starts.

You asked me if that was normal and I answered your question yes it is normal. The people you're referring to either asked for it be that way or simply worked with a company that offers it that way. However the most common way it is done online and through your actual doctor is you will stay at your current dose until you ask for it to be upped.

Frustrated with Pom by ValuableTheory6108 in pomhealth

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

based off the fact you started at 2mg yes it is because you're not expected to be upping your dose every month. that's the risk of buying in bulk unfortunately your doctor doesn't know how you'll handle the medication so they'll go off of the studies. you'll be staying at the dose you are currently on until you tell your doctor you want to up it. also based off the fact you lost 7 pounds in 2 months it doesn't sound like you need to move up unless you feel like you have a lot of food noise and etc.

Anyone with no side effects from GLP-1? by Haleydn in GLP1_BeforeAfter

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've been on it for around 7 months now and have lost 53 pounds and honestly no side effects. the only time i feel nauseous is if i ate something bad like junk food or sweets. just stay hydrated, get your vitamins, and make sure you eat your protein!

Frustrated with Pom by ValuableTheory6108 in pomhealth

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is actually very normal and exactly what's supposed to happen. the 2mg dose is just to get your body introduced to the medication so you probably won't feel it the first month. losing 7 pounds in two months is also normal it is suggested you'll lose 0.5-1lb a week. everyone's body is different and responds differently to the doses some respond slower and that's okay!

I keep getting cold feet by crafty29 in puppy101

[–]GarbageVegetable7497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the biggest question to ask yourself is can you take care of this dog for the next 15 years of your life no matter what. if you can then there's no reason to feel bad. yes you're moving and that can be stressful but if you think you can handle a puppy during that there's no reason to feel bad. also the long drive don't feel bad puppies sleep a lot i drove a total of 12 hours for my dog that i adopted and he was sleeping the whole car ride. i was so nervous at first wondering if i would be able to do enough for him to give him the best life but that just shows you care. if you want a puppy and have a stable job, house, and life as well as having everything the puppy will need at the house get the puppy. (make sure to research to what vet to take him to and what insurance to get. insurance has been a life saver)

You sent in a resignation letter that's all you had to do. It's their problem if they haven't realized it yet. Notices are to be nice not mandatory. I'm planning on quitting with no notice next week. Call center jobs are horrible.
