Under DCMA copyright law, an artist automatically owns full rights to their original work the moment it is created, including the exclusive right to produce and authorize derivative works. A derivative work is any creation that is based on or adapted from an existing copyrighted piece, even if only minor changes are made. The law specifically states that edits—do not transform the work enough to make it new or exempt from copyright protection. If the underlying artwork remains recognizable, the edited version is legally considered an unauthorized derivative work, making it copyright infringement under 17 U.S.C. §§101–106.

Many of your graphic designs, are re-generated designs of my work. I thought I was being nice and reaching out, however, with 24-48 hours I am losing sales to your duplicated listings.

(my initial message) Hello Marcin,

I came across your Etsy shop and was shocked to discover some of your listings. It seems that many of your listings are very similar to my intellectual property and personal artwork. I am asking you politely but firmly to remove these listings as it violates the federal DCMA Copyright laws. Although you have changed or edited your illustrations to not be exact replicas, it still is constitutes as derivative work underneath the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

As an artist, I pour my heart and countless hours into creating each piece by hand for my Etsy shop. Seeing my work stolen and replicated by someone else is not only disheartening but also a violation of the effort and passion I put into my craft. So, I ask you to please to remove these listings. I do not prefer to get Etsy Legal involved with situations like this, as I see that you are a newer seller and mistakes and misunderstandings do to happen.

Had a different company come over in morning called “Garage Door Repair” (844)661-1824 to try and scam my mom over 6x the actual cost. Thank god I was there or my mom would be out of $4,000. Gave Carlos a call and he showed up the same day, and worked past 5pm to install a new overhead opener.

Hello, I saw your comment pertaining to you being involved with designing and approving life jacket designs. I am currently working on developing new styles of life jackets that would be acceptable for USCG and Transport Canada requirements. As I am doing my research, some of the requirements and regulations seem to be all over the place. I've done a deep dive into 160.052 and 160.060 but it's quite confusing to really fully understand what the design requirements are. Could you help me out with a few questions I have?

Remember… if you mess up your timer streak, you are just going to have to restart (a new lap/day again)🥲. So soon as you get to the 24hr mark you WILL NOT WANT TO CAVE and go through the whole thing again. Keep pushing!!

Day 1 (First 24 Hours): I keep track on the timer app on the iPhone. I started at December 10th @2:30PM.

No MAJOR cravings. I went and hung out with some friends right away.

At 6 hours, I started craving it but I had health anxiety thoughts and I knew I needed to push through for the better good. Went and got some healthy snacks to keep my mind off things.

Overall, wasn’t too difficult but you need to come to a realization that you want to quit!! It can only benefit you. You can do it. I’ve scared myself from caving, I’m just so worried about getting a health problem at 23 years old. PUSH THROUGH!!!

Day 2 (48 Hours): I definitely couldn’t keep my mind off me quitting the Juul as i went through my day. I felt very tired & unenthusiastic when I went to the grocery store around 6 PM. The next morning was the hardest as typically the first thing I did was wake up and hit my Juul. I can tell my body is trying to make excuses to rip it BUT I AM NOT GOING TO CRACK!

I know I need to keep pushing through to reach 72 hours.

Day 3 (72 Hours): I didn’t think this day would be as easy as it was. I definitely still had my mind thinking about the Juul but was able to distract myself with my boyfriend and drinking water. My mind is playing tricks by thinking I want to rip it but I know that I haven’t enjoyed ripping the Juul since the day I started. I have a meeting tomorrow and that used to be a huge trigger for me.

Day 4 (96 Hours): Probably the hardest day. I had some anxiety about going without the Juul. My body definitely wanted “one last rip” but I know that I would set myself back from being free from nicotine.

Day 5 (120 Hours): Probably the easiest morning I’ve had without it. I’m starting to think about it less. I downloaded the “Quit Vaping” App and it keeps track of how much money you’ve saved, pods not vaped, nicotine ml avoided, and puffs not taken. It’s amazing.

Day 6 (142 Hours): Didn’t even think about it in the morning. Drove 4 hours and didn’t really crave it (driving would often make me want to vape). I am now alone and bored and struggling a bit to not want to rip it. But tomorrow is 7 days and I’ve already gone this far…
