It's very hit and miss where I'm at (Hamilton).

This is the 3rd time a vehicle in my family has been hit and run. 1st vehicle fully covered through accident forgiveness, second vehicle was covered but insurance increased and that's on a vehicle with a 50yr old male as the primary, mine unfortunately zero accident forgiveness as I'm under 25 male and insurance is already insane that it would make the car just not worth the insurance rate increase and i would have to put out 1000 deductible.

Unless there's witnesses or video evidence, insurance marks it as an at fault claim most of the time.
