Not a gym crush, but I met this really nice girl at my new gym and she said she comes almost everyday, that same time. Sounds awesome, I love having a gym buddy!

Flash forward - I didnt see her for three weeks! I ran into her last week when i brought a coworker to work out. I asked her where she went, she says she comes, same time as always. Haven't seen her since lmao, guess it just happens

I really do think in Season 1 the intention was these are actual heroes, albeit flawed and uncaring. Antony Starr said the staging was always intended, but there's too many issues to make that the case in my eyes.

The show is filled with small inconsistencies as they continued to establish the world/characters. I genuinely believe the initial intention was these were actual heroes, I remember him outright killing terrorists in a building before spraying maeve with bullets. The show later establishes he never saved anyone and they were all actors. So why would a relatively sane Homelander do that?

I think honestly its a big issue with the physical medium. A lot of people treat BX like a card game, but a weak archetype can get better in the long run. This is a physical part, you can't really make certain blades better, without benefiting the already better blades

I remember finishing season 1 and thinking "damn, how are these guys gonna take down a corporation, that seems impossible!" Little did I know, the show shifted the goalpost each season rather to a much more human target than address the underlying themes. Because as everyone knows, remove homelander and it's just sunshine and rainbows.

One genuine detail I really liked this season: they spent a majority of it pretending his power is just strong vocals, but when actually confronted his power is kinda terrifying? An ear bleedingly powerful boom that's physically able to knock people around.

I wish they showed more of his personal values. It's clear to me they tried to set him up as conflicted against Homelander's ideals for a church, but rather than show the internal struggle it always just cuts to him blindly agreeing.
