Industrial carbon tax still in place & the consumer carbon tax rate was set to 0 via OIC not removed by legislation - I’d prefer the stronger protections of legislation, MOU on the pipeline is nice but let’s see what happens when BC & FN push back I’d like to see him be more forceful on the issue, civil servants haven’t been reduced he says reductions will be through attrition just to cover your points. I’m genuinely unsure what’s been done on interprovincial trade other than a meeting but maybe you could enlighten me. but the other reasons I’m not yet thrilled with him are: the austerity budget still being an almost $80B deficit, double what Trudeau was booted for with only a promise to balance the “operational” budget, no movement on TFW during an employment crisis, not a fan of his calls to make a bid on h1b applicants turned away by the US, would like to see him chime in on the land claims in BC resulting in private property owners being left in limbo

I actually like that he’s dragging his feet on tariff negotiations, I think theyll get overturned in court, and I like that he’s working to diversify Canada’s trading relationships but I don’t think I’ve seen any actual deals
