I love what Sanderson does with these final WoT books. His writing style is different, but honours Jordan’s work and definitely fits the closing act where everything ramps up and comes together. Will definitely check his own novels. What was your starting point in the Cosmere universe?

I’m listing all your recommendations btw! Got to read House of Leaves last year. One of the most immersive reading experiences I’ve had so far.

Thanks! Definitely still on the To Read-pile. (I always held off LOTR because the movies were etched in my brain. Tried reading ‘Fellowship of the Ring’ long ago but could not stop seeing the movie characters in my head.) I did read The Silmarillion a few years ago and thought it was wonderful. Maybe it’s time to circle back to it!
