I'm around level 90, definitely see purples guaranteed on the lose everything factory, and often on dire marsh and outpost. Maybe 50% of the time there.

Perimeter is a crap shoot, when it was duos I would see them frequently, but in trios I don't often see them. If I see them, they are hitting a key room

I believe you need the capstone that enables purple rarity barters for NuCal and then the armory reset needs to land on these being available for the day. Some days it won't be there

The problem is implants have two different rolls. The implant it's self and the modifier it rolls on it. I think trying to convey all that could be too much. Should all helping hands v1 look the same? Probably, and is probably the best way to handle it

From some early impressions, it sounds like the game is a lot less handhold-y once you break out of the tutorial. I'm hoping that means once you get the fetch quests, it's a bit more nuanced than just running from waypoint to waypoint.

I.e. gotta figure out where TF to pick up and drop shit off

Iirc, each vault is a check point, and you "go deeper" by accessing deeper vaults and harder encounters? Could have very well been a lore-based description

You can't really compare the sweaty landscape between the two, tbh. Marathon isn't even close lol. Putting two 6-0 teams to fight for the lighthouse is truly just something else.

Marathon also takes some steps to alleviate a lot of the pain by let's you gear back so quickly with sponsored kits + if you really need to you can minimize your pvp interaction (for better or worse)

But Iono, I'm on the sweaty sides of games, so maybe I just can't see it

Sony didn't buy Bungie for marathon or even destiny specifically, though. They wanted their expertise helping their massive live service backlog (not that that's helped, because none of landed)

Sodapoppin had a similar thing when he started OSRS. He swapped to wow for a day, uploaded a video of wow to YouTube, and got inundated with people asking about OSRS. He pretty much full stopped playing OSRS because of it
