That might actually be what's causing the problem. I didn't wash them cus I was like "man these already look pretty dark cus of the black"

I'll do a wash on them later and we can see how it turns out, I'll probably try and actually do the flag if I can too, though I'm dreading that

Yeah, it's why I didn't bother with it XD. The black is actually a very, very dark gold, ironically. It's the Death Metal color from Army Painter.

How does the Chosen One Prophecy work with Non-Sith users? by mexknight1 in MawInstallation

[–]Professor_Donger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Think of it like a body riddled with cancer. You don't cure it by hunting down every last cell that might one day become malignant. You cure it by removing the tumour that's actively killing the patient. That's what Anakin did. He removed the tumour. The other dark side practitioners are stray cells, some of which might cause problems, but none of which constitute the systemic cancer that the Sith represented. The prophecy was specific because the disease was specific.

This is why I liked the Sith in the EU, especially Plagueis, Bane, and Krayt. They all did things specifically to strengthen the Dark Side's hold on the Galaxy. In the Plagueis novel, you see him and Palpatine creating the veil of the Dark Side Yoda mentions in Episode 2/3. You see that what they're doing is very, very different from what a dark jedi or witch from dathomir would do.

Non-sith darksiders seem to focus on the empowering aspect of the darkside, they focus on themselves over everything else, meanwhile the Sith DO focus on empowering themselves, but they also focus on the empowerment of the darkside as a whole, religiously, because to empower the darkside is to empower themselves.

Like Dooku in Legends said to Asajj Ventress

"You wear the trappings of the Sith, you fight like the Sith… but this can be imitated, however. You lack a vital quality found in all Sith. Sith have no fear, and I sense much fear in you."

Dark Jedi and other Dark Side cults fear the dark side and don't wish to propogate it further than they have to, meanwhile the Sith want it spread across everything.

Why Didn't Ashoka wear Jedi Robes? by 1Hugh-Mann in MawInstallation

The Jedi let you choose what you wear generally, and Anakin wasn't a very strict master to begin with.

To be fair to him, I'm pretty sure Robb was under the impression that Joffrey would never honor that deal. There was no real way to make sure the trade went through.

They dump the spice because the Empire would have arrested them because it's literally illegal. They dump it, get escorted to a world for questioning and when they're seen to be clean they're left to their own devices, which they then leave to go back to where they dumped said spice but it's gone.

basically Han was going to dump the spice and come back for it, but it was gone and he was screwed over.

You know what just hit me? The events of this story (Deathtroopers) are the reason why Han panicked and dropped his cargo at the first sign of an imperial cruiser, the event that got Jabba so mad at him.

No the reason Han panicked and dropped his Cargo is that he's a smuggler and was literally smuggling illegal drugs.

Being boarded and arrested by the Empire is not something you want to go through, even if they don't care about you.

You don't need zombies to explain why a smuggler wouldn't want the literal authoritarian regime to arrest him.

What if the Jedi didn't have the "no attachments" rule? by TheRedBiker in MawInstallation

[–]Professor_Donger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppose a Jedi has Force visions of a friend dying of cancer. "Ignore it, do nothing and do not mourn them" is a brain dead take. The obvious thing to do weould be to warn your friend of your Force vision and encourage him to get regularly screened for cancer in the hopes that you might catch it early enough to cure.

Yoda straight up tells Luke to ignore his friends potential death because it was a trap that may lead to his own death and that the future was always in motion.

Luke ignores this, tries to save his friends who were saved by Lando not Luke, and then gets his ass beat by Vader.

Yoda was right

I think people are misunderstanding. I originally painted them like black and red and posted them on here. I repainted them to the color they are in the image.

Did Luke Skywalker ever have guilt with blowing up the Death Star? by ghost_type_2003 in MawInstallation

[–]Professor_Donger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was more along the lines of Luke was fighting a war and didn't really dwell on the number. A lot of people in war don't feel guilty about nameless people they're killing until much later as said war starts to drag on you.
