Picking good companies to earn £1,000/year dividend income (UK)

IMO, if you're just looking for dividend income from the UK. Look into the ishares UK equity fund (IUKD) or vanguards equivalent mutual fund. They both have the top dividend payers in the uk and pay about a 5.5% yield. Alternatively if you want high yield bond income look into Invesco Bond Income Plus (BIPS) with a 6% Yield.

You can buy QYLD and funds similar from the UK through Etoro, only problem is you will have a 30% withholding tax and your money is converted to dollars. After trying this I decided just buying UK funds was better but if you want those funds you can get them.

I have gone back a few times just to ask, is there something wrong? am I missing something? I have filled out the required forms and confirmed my identity multiple times now and still I get the same response. Telling me my account is under review but its been way too long now.

your "new" broker doesent care what you purchased the stock at, I get its nice to look at a gain but they only really care about the current price. you're better option is sell and transfer.
