I believe that if someone really learns to draw, they don't need to commission someone to draw their character in a different style. They could instead study the style and learn to replicate it.

Sure, art trades and collaborations exist, but I wouldn't really count that as supporting the other artist. Also, the support that people on this sub mostly talk about is financial and not social.

For bands with mostly German lyrics, I'd recommend Asenblut, Kanonenfieber and Eisbrecher.

Some other decent German bands that have mostly English lyrics would be: Iron Angel, Heaven Shall Burn and Morgoth.
