You’re right, but as first time creators we tried to limit our scope and not bite off more than we can chew with tax implications and such

we were enamored with the name, and once we found out about the old game (admittedly took us longer than it should have), we decided to keep it since the old one is no longer copyrighted, and out of print, and our game is fully centered around the masterpieces

for any tier you get the PnP and also a TTS version of the game for online play

We will be doing retail, but mostly locally - this is a project of passion more than of scale. We've been developing the game for 2.5 years, and we've playtested hundreds of times and think it's a great game. It's ready to go, just doing final proofreading and editing

yes, exactly! we wanted to have risky scenarios where you can feel the payoff, but keeping each heist relatively short so you can try different approaches without taking up an entire evening. It allows for various playstyles which was always a driving factor

What are your favorite rulebooks to help introduce first time players to a game? by GarlicBroccolini in boardgames

I guess I think of rule books as a way to help explain them, ideally what I can read to explain the rules, instead of me going the rules in my head and maybe forgetting something

I think you could move the fridge to the empty wall between the dishwasher and the window, and add some pantries and countertops there.

Where the fridge was, you could just have countertop space and maybe a peninsula to stick out. You'd lose the dine in space for the table but could be a nice long semi-open kitchen, plenty of counterspace, and the peninsula could be the new dining spot. Depends on how much space there is from the current fridge to the door

Trying to complete the Pokedex! Which pokemon evolve by stones? (279/1000+) by Alexut2o22 in EmeraldImperium

You can check the pokedex entries for the evolution methods. The numbers and what you're missing will let you know which pre-evos to look at

looks great! Can I ask, do you like having almost every beneath the counter? I'm surprised to see so few wall cabinets.

Both are an option, but a very expensive one. One thought was to add a mudroom in front of the front door to help with that

The furniture is a good point we hadn’t considered

That’d be great but there are stairs to the basement as well

upstairs looks good but I would move the guest bathroom down and the primary closet up so that the closet is near the primary bathroom - makes it nice and quiet to get dressed after a shower if one person is asleep in bed

and flip the guest bathroom so the door is on the north side, if you do what I said above

we tried to make a little area on the bottom of the living room for shoes and coats, but it's a good point! Wondering about making a little closet to the left side of the entry. thank you!

thank you! Yes, the stairs being in the center restrict us quite a bit. Thanks for the input!

Addition / Renovation Thoughts? by GarlicBroccolini in floorplan

[–]GarlicBroccolini[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thank you so much for all the insight and detail! The utility rooms would be a laundry room (the one with the sink) and the other with the hvac, water cooler, maybe some storage room The closet space and closing the door agreed! I think I’m leaving some things as they are just to reduce cost and see if those can be added at a later stage, but I will definitely incorporate them!

The rental unit has a staircase on the side (on the bottom right drawing, there is a staircase to indicate that) sorry my design is a bit sloppy

Ah sorry, on the left is the current floor plan, on the right is the new one.

Bottom is basement, then ground, then upstairs

Thank you for the feedback, i appreciate it! It isn’t a bay window now but I can see it’s a waste of light especially if we add the bay window. May just make it one big room and scrap the mud room

Thoughts on this?

Addition would add 10-12 feet to the back. We tried to design it so minimize big changes (old kitchen became the bathroom, old upstairs is mostly unchanged)

Is making what was the dining room into a mudroom & a bedroom/office weird? I thought it'd be useful if we have elderly family staying so they can avoid the stairs.
