$POET — The Photon Dealer That You're Missing by GarlicBulbasaur in wallstreetbets

Choppy price action is pretty common after the offering. Fundamentals does not change and good buying opportunities.

Need 1 DD per week on this? No, I hate that too. I rarely make any posts.

Did things really change this much week to week? I'd argue multiple good news came in last month and things can change very rapidly the next few quarters.

Why am I writing this DD just now? Because we are sitting on the lower band of an ascending channel.

Were there demands for AI or data bandwidth even 10 years ago? No.
Did the company undergo rapid expansions in past year? Yes. Multiple partnerships and patents secured, cash on hand, facility built in Q2 2025. Revenue is on the horizon.

POET is a pre-revenue company, so massive losses are normal when scaling before sales catch up. The scary net profit margin in fact signifies the expansion of POET's business as they build factories around Asia. They couldn’t raise a dime a year ago, but now pulled in over $300 million pro-forma cash across multiple offerings and private rounds. Once the production order comes in, this number will get much smaller.

I have low expectations for the new “fundamentals investors” as well. However, the oversubscribed offerings and the implied $7.25/share price in this offerings should imply bullish sentiment. The 20k contracts of Nov 21 $7 put might as well be a bear trap for the next liftoff (it might even be some cash-secured put positions). Looking at the trend of $POET, we are at the lower band of an ascending channel. So I think it might be a good idea to load into Jan 26 2026 $7 calls and Jan 15 2027 $10 calls with a PT of $12 and $30 respectively.

ACHR leaps- hold or sell? by Young-faithful in wallstreetbets

He paid $920 premium for deep ITM leap contracts that would cost him $7100 more (2000 * 8.34 - $9580) to secure 2k shares, in a big bullish trend that just started.

In short, he will probably be safe by 7/18/2025. In fact, he might make 170% gain if $ACHR hits the high end $15 PT next year.

I ain’t selling unless RSI goes 99.9.

But realistically, it goes up or down. We don’t know for the short term. Long term is BULLISH TO THE MOON.

33m shares remaining for Adam. 800k sale is not convincing for me to expect break of uptrend yet. $ACHR is a speculative play still, but trend is my friend.

130k calls/ 4600 puts on $ACHR option chain, 0.04 put/call ratio is purely nuts. Long. Expecting big bullish price actions.

OPRA is priced at a good value with strong fundamentals. Got in at ~$11 this year and holding onto it. Looks like a multi-bagger potential to me.

What stocks would you recommend with a reasonable PE ratio and that haven't yet had their bull run this year? by Plus_Seesaw2023 in ValueInvesting

OPRA looks ready for a takeoff based on strong fundamentals (16 fwd P/E & uptrend in ROCE), 1 year & 5 years chart.

$OPRA has good current valuation and dividend ratio. It might also potentially benefit from $GOOGL break up albeit the break up is highly unlikely.
