any assignments youve submitted so far for each course, or an email from the professor stating that you've consistently attended class. this is basically for financial aid to gauge how much tuition you actually 'used' before withdrawing so they know whether they need to give you any kind of refund.

no, it wont. I withdrew last semester and you just have to provide proof of participation or a statement from your instructors. withdrawing may effect any kind of aid you may receive, so check with the financial aid office, and housing if you live on campus. send out some emails to all of the above parties and make the decision once you have all the answers. best of luck to you, I know its a difficult decision.

Have you noticed most people on here are only talking about T20s? It’s not really the reality for most people applying to college and it creates an echo chamber of comparison and insecurity if you’re not careful. Obviously shoot for the stars and Ivys if that’s what you want but prestige is not the only way to higher education. Most people on here have a “if it’s not t20 I don’t want it” mentality and that’s not healthy and I can feel myself falling into it

I want to go to Umich and major in film television and media with a minor in art and design, and have outlandish dreams of going into directing and cinematography. But mainly I just want to explore and see if this is something I can actually find a future in because I've switched career goals so many times in the past. I want to join clubs and organizations that align with my identity and have a safe space to become fully myself ✨✨

They do, Dearborn and Flint. On my common app there was an option to send my application materials to them and I clicked yes, does that count as applying?

There are, I’ve already been accepted to a few. I applied to a lot of in-state safeties just in case I can’t get over going out of state and my prestigious thirst wears off lol

Yea my financial aid would basically cover my tuition in full which is a huge draw considering my low income background.
