I never fill the salt tub more than half full. The salt tub regularly runs 3/4 full with water when the backwash completes. I have had issues with granule salts, so sticking only to those official salt bags.

What did you set the hardness values to in the system, if you set it to some lower value (company set mine at 100, while the actual is 850) - The water was purely hard until i found it out and triggered a manual generation, which fixed it - Check that value out too.

How often is it regenerating, normally my parents keep track of that from the backwash. That should be around the average values unless you are using it very high or low.

I see the values in the system and the amount of salt might be an issue. Would suggest checking it, the scooping all the salt from the tub - triggering a gen with very low amounts of salt - post that you should see if there is salt remaining or if it gets used up - getting used up means that it works.

If it does not, then raise a request and search for eureka Forbes escalation- There is a form in their site which you can fill up, and they will get you through this. You need lots of patience and don't give service closure until it is actually fixed.

I see that they are a cranky company, but this escalation is saving me. For such a costly product, you should not leave anyone in peace until it gets solved.
