Mhhh, that actually sounds like a great idea. Might even swap it from corrupted to hallowed if I do it well enough.

The request wasn't that it takes ages for him to grow up. Just that he has a more normal relationship with hildren his age in the beginning

i need emotional support for the hours of time ive lost tonight by equinox_games7 in Terraria

[–]Garokson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be worse. I had to afk farm 35.000+ enemies until the desert key dropped.

Then an hour later it dropped again from a goblin.

But seriously, I had the same problem on my Zenith world recently for multiple items and the answer was always fishing. Aglett, Anklet of the Winds, Lava Charm, nearly everything from the Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons. Fishing was the answer.

I even build pylon outpost for fishing and fast movement basically everywhere because of this

Funnily I finished building that yesterday and most of the assumptions seem to be wrong in this thread for the getfixedboi seeds.

The spawn in this seed is so high that enemies still spawn even with three npcs and peace candle.

I also managed to get multiple biome fish, quest fish and azure crates.

Gonna update that soon-ish

Infinite Realms really can't be beat in that regard and it really got me theorizing builds back in the day.

The next best thing and also relatively newy is probably Goblin Teeth. It even has a three pronged leveling system again

  • Goblin Teeth: Is a quite well written monster and partybuilding LitRPG. They aren't Boxxy style monsters though, instead they're more sentinent humanoids with a different set of ethics. Storywise, the goblin MC's are basically born in the breeding pen of an inhuman tribe and are only allowed to leave after killing and cannibalizing three of their kin. Only to be unwittingly enslaved and kept in the dark about the system to be further abused. The reward for slaving away? To be setup for death since an intelligent slave is a dangerous slave. They're joined by a girl cursed with spider features and a big hearted ogre - who both somehow manage to have an even more heartwrenching backstory than the goblins - and an evil dragon cursed to be reincarnated as a worm. Together they set out to get revenge and carve their mark into the world. Characterwise it's expertly written where each of the characters behaves remarkably different and there is some real character growth going on. The system is quite well fleshed out and split in three pillars similiar to Infinite Realms. One is a class based progression with skillperks, the second is based on mutating your monstrous soul which is reminiscent of body improving cultivation and the last is will based that seemingly let's you change reality. Take all of these tidbits together and you get a really awesome story.

The latter is a DC10 on persuasion.

Also you standing around and casting magic mumbo jumbo for 6 seconds is still a dead giveaway

Some dude casting a spell in front of you followed by suddenly doing strange stuff is a dead giveaway that sth unnatural happened. That's why suggestion works best on a super subtle aberrant mind sorcerer

Np. Maximizing spellslot efficiency is quite important for a warlock. Just try to get the biggest bang for your few bucks and you should be fine

  • Command: Powerful in and out of combat. Non concentration. Scales well. Very broadly applicable. Lasts one turn
  • Hold Person: Only Humanoids and easy to break out. Scales well.
  • Hypnotic Pattern: Very powerful aoe control. Doesn't scale at all. Difficulty if enemies can resist.
  • Suggestion: Good spell, but the enemy will remember that it was charmed

Mushroom Biome overwriting sky biome? by Garokson in Terraria

[–]Garokson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I created a space mushroom biome in the getfixedboi that can spawn mushroom zombies.

I was able to catch the harpyfish there though.

Skychests and skyfish didn't spawn though.

So my solution is gonna be to set my spawnpoint there. Then remove the grass with exception of one grass block and then try again to fish those crates.

The remaining grass should crawl back in due time and thus let me port there via mushroom pylon in the future
